Light and Fluffy Doughnuts
Saturday morning about 10’o clock the Kettler family drove all the way down from Paola to help us paint our kitchen walls and cabinets, a few ladies from our care group also came over. Mariah Kettler came along with her parents. Mariah and I had a lot of fun, we desisted to go on a adventure so we packed a bag with the only the necessities of life, two glazed doughnuts (that Mrs. Pagono had brought from Krispy Kream), a bottle of water, hand sanitizer (which Mariah had insisted on bringing), two tangerines, napkins, Mrs. Kettler’s cell phone in case we got lost (which little girls are proem to do.) We left home and went down to a creek near our neighborhood, and skated around on the ice we fell though the ice a couple times each, then we sat down on Mariah's coat and Mariah was telling me how much she loved a light and fluffy doughnut, I had to agree, but to our dismay upon opening the bag Mariah pulled out the zip lock bag that we had stored our light and fluffy doughnuts; But our light and fluffy doughnuts were no more, the doughnuts on the way there had been swished as flat as a pancake! Mariah and I brust out laughing, then we ate the squashed doughnuts, which weren't that bad. And before we got home our boots were full of icy creek water and our stomachs with squashed doughnuts! Thank you, Lord for such sweet friends!
